"When I moved out of my childhood home 11 years ago, whenever I go home, she pretends that you're coming and staying at a hotel," DeSorbo says. "So she always puts chocolate next to the bed and it's always been Kinder Bueno."

"And so it just felt very fate and I was like, 'My mom's going to be so excited,'" she adds.
The Daphne founder says filming the action-packed ad was "so fun" — especially working with Fichtner, whose film credits includeArmageddon, The Perfect StormandBlack Hawk Down.
"He's a real actor," she says. "I felt like, 'Hi, nice to meet you. I'm not as professional of an actress as you are,' but he was so nice and it was such an honor to meet him."
She continues, "Obviously we filmed a commercial, but the whole day I was just like, 'And how do they film movies?' This is crazy. It's so much work that goes into it and so many people and their expertise. So it was just very fascinating to see all of the moving parts all day."

DeSorbo says having an ad in the Super Bowl is the highlight of her year.
"If someone said to me a couple years ago, 'All your ex boyfriends will be sitting down and watching one TV show and then you'll pop up,' I'd say that's a dream come true. So I'm really excited to harness all of that energy."
She admits she doesn't have big plans for Super Bowl Sunday herself.
"I'm going to be in my own apartment and I'm excited to watch the commercial. Obviously, it's a big game," she says.
"I'm not rooting for one particular team," she adds. "I'm really rooting for the commercials."
